N+P EXTENDS SRF SUPPLY AGREEMENT WITH VASSILIKO CEMENT WORKS

Since 2015 N+P is delivering SRF from the United Kingdom and Italy in sea containers and bulk vessels to Vassiliko Cement Works Public Company Ltd  in Cyprus, today N+P proudly announces that the SRF supply agreement with Vassiliko Cement Works and its subsidiary Enerco Energy Recovery has been extended until 31-12-2020 with the option to further extend this cooperation to 31-12-2022. Vassiliko Cement Works  is using SRF as secondary fuel to replace fossil fuels such as coal and petcoke in the cement production process.

Parties intend to maximize alternative fuel consumption in the Vassiliko Cement plant, to do so parties recently carried out a trial to co-grind N+P’s Subcoal® pellets in the plants coal mills. First results of this trial are looking very promising and  further trials will be done the near future. We agreed not to disclose precise contract volumes, but at present >2.500 tons of SRF per week is  shipped into Vassiliko Cement Works Public Company LTD!”
