Procurement

Procurement is where value, risk, and responsibility meet. We support teams across N+P by making sure indirect purchases are well sourced, well documented, and fit for purpose.

Procurement department

What We Do

Our team is responsible for:

  • Managing the sourcing and purchasing of indirect goods and services (e.g., equipment rentals, professional services, office supplies, and capex)

  • Selecting suppliers and running sourcing processes that deliver the best balance of value and reliability

  • Negotiating contracts and commercial terms to protect N+P and improve outcomes

  • Managing supplier and contract risks, including performance, continuity, and compliance

  • Ensuring procurement activities meet legal, ethical, and environmental standards

  • Supporting smarter purchasing decisions that align with budgets, policies, and long-term impact

Our Role in N+P’s Mission

Procurement supports N+P’s strategic goals by improving cost efficiency, ensuring compliance, and enabling sustainable growth. By helping teams make informed purchasing decisions that balance value, risk, and long-term impact, we also contribute to N+P’s Scope 3 sustainability ambitions.

Collaboration Across Departments

We work closely with:

  • Finance Department: Aligning on budgets, spend visibility, and ensuring purchasing decisions support financial planning and control.

  • Legal Department: Reviewing contracts and ensuring terms are compliant and protect N+P’s interests.

  • Operations Department: Supporting operational needs with reliable suppliers, clear agreements, and practical timelines.

  • Site Management: Enabling local purchasing needs while keeping consistency, compliance, and value across sites.

Strong collaboration ensures consistency, compliance, and value across the board.

What Everyone Should Know

Procurement isn’t just here to approve purchase orders, we’re strategic partners. When involved early, we can unlock better value, reduce risks, and streamline the process. And often, we already have a template, preferred approach, or supplier ready to help.
