Are you passionate about sustainable technologies and looking to start your career in product development? We’re looking for a Junior Product Development Engineer to support the design, testing, and implementation of innovative solutions in the waste and recycling industry. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, learning how to turn ideas into practical, real-world solutions while contributing to environmental and operational improvements. 

The most important tasks, activities and responsibilities are:

  • Assist in the development and testing of new waste processing technologies and sustainable waste-derived products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project development and implementation
  • Help gather market insights, customer needs, and regulatory information to support project decisions
  • Support the creation of business cases and analyses under the guidance of senior colleagues
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and optimization
  • Gain hands-on experience on-site, learning from international experts

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in recycling, waste management, circular economy, or sustainability
  • Eagerness to learn, curiosity, and a proactive mindset
  • Motivated to grow within your role and take on increasing responsibilities
  • Team-oriented, willing to learn from colleagues and take guidance from experienced mentors
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Willingness to work hands-on in a collaborative environment
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch, French, Spanish, or German is a plus
